True, Can regen parts on SO also to create Unfirmed jobs. Just trying to 1) prevent jobs not getting created when they should and 2) give a vehicle to user(s) that a whoopsie happened.
I was just suggesting to get around this one since it is due Thursday.
What does PartDtl say about this particular instance?
I’m still hung up on this.
When does your MRP run? If you were working on a 7-day supply time fence and demand was for 6/12… and MRP ran on 6/5 (you’re right on the edge… maybe there’s a time stamp in play, not just a number of days?).
You ran the second part today 6/6 and it picked up the 6/12 demand because it is now within the 7-day window?? Could be why regening the part worked today??
This could all just be a timing thing, right?
Will check PartDtl…
As another test, Leaving jobs not created till scheduled MRP tonight. There is a possibility that date didn’t get entered for SO yesterday, got entered today… I just may turn logging on despite Principal Parties not wanting it. Need WHEN things happened, not necessarily WHO did it to troubleshoot effectively.
Dean, if you didn’t figure this out already I may be able to help but I need screenshots of your planning parameters, a screenshot of time phase with suggestions turned on and one with it turned off. A screenshot of Process MRP with your run parameters selected would be useful also. If you could also verify the status of Dynamic Days of Supply modifier in site maintenance.
So Much for waiting to see if MRP run would Fix… MRP failed Sat, Sun, and Mon Morning ( 1:30 am ) …
Need to fix MRP Schedule…
are you only using 1 processor and 1 scheduler?
Using 3
EpicCare had readymade Data fix. Seems Cloud Servers Update hung a few processes. Will wait to get MRP run by Schedule and then see what shakes loose…
