Wondering if this can be accomplished. If someone doesn't punch in
with data collection then they will not show up on the summarized
laor edit report. If this was an error on the part of the worker it
is hard to catch until he/she complains about no paycheck. I was
wondering if you could have the report show a total of 0 hours for
the worker and that way the supervisor can verify that the worker was
on vacation or whatever.

Any help on this would be helpful.

You can create a report using LaborHed.PayHours to see what employees have 0 hours on a given LaborHed.PayrollDate.

Lucas,

We use a daily labor edit report that we got from the user group. It is
printed daily and given to shop supervisor. He can then catch and
correct payroll and some job data collection glitches when they are
still hot in everybody's mind.

Actually, now that you mention it, I am looking for a detailed Labor Edit Report that lists total employee hours, indirect hours, and overtime hours. I created a report that does this, but it has been a bear to get the overtime calculation working. I need to run it per month or per year and the overtime calculation is turning out to be very difficult. I got some very good advice from someone on the list concerning this, but it has still been a difficult task. So, if anyone has an already made-up report that does this, that would be great!
