Is there a way to link the supplier price list and part master for days out for a vendor?
We use lead time for the supplier list and days out for the part master.
When we need to update the list, it has to be done in both place this is very time consuming to do in the part master to check out every part that needs to updated.
My understanding of how our team does this, is that they only update the supplier price list as that is the one that overrides the information set on the subcontract operation in engineering workbench.
By default, does this override include the ‘Days Out’ field as well, or should we enter that manually in the Engineering Workbench? Alternatively, is there a setup that ensures this field is updated automatically?"
Use the Supplier Price List to set subcontract operation rates these rates override any defaults in the Engineering Workbench’s subcontract operations. You need only make the necessary changes to the Supplier Price List in order to include the part and the effective date. Kinetic will then apply that cost whenever you run MRP or create job releases.
