Can the supplier price list be deleted once it is outdated or does it have to be just expired? Also, we have many parts and/or materials that we no longer use from a particular company. Can we delete hose or no? I’m thinking no, but wanted to ask since I am being asked this quite often.
I deleted one that I tested on. Epicor didn’t stop me. It was created 3 months ago and already expired.
If no transactions and the part is not specified elsewhere e.g. BOM
then yes, you should be able to delete it.
Else no.
I imagine what the users are actually saying is, “There’s too much cr@p in this supplier price list”. One way to clean up the price list is to put a filter on the grid. A clever coder could make a button on the grid with a text box that accepts a date (defaults to today) and turns the filter on and off to see old prices and/or current prices.
