We are considering switching from the Default costing method to split costing method (still using standard costing). I am trying to assess the impacts on GL from this switch. Has anyone gone through this process yet and what were the impacts?
Are there any impacts apart from material cost being recategorized in Labor and subcontracting? We don’t use burden rates in Epicor.
I tested this in the pilot database and there was no P&L impact. I am trying to see if there is anything we missed before we go forward with the change.
