Sysprogress and Crystal Reports

To avoid the logon prompt will compiled Crystal Report you need to
use the setlogoninfo method. It will authenticate to the database
with out prompting. How many OBDC connections does you server
allow? It would be in the progress explorer. It should give the
total number of broker how many clients per broker. One other
question how do you compile your reports. Do you use VB, C++, or the
Crystal compiler. I only ask because the crystal compiler works with
8.5, but isn't really supported anymore. Plus the setlogoninfo
method is what I use in VB. I don't know how it works with anything
else.

Is it possible to use Vantage users to connect to the database through
Crystal reports? I have a configuration issue that I have been unable to
fix. I have created several reports with Crystal Reports and have compiled
them to use by my Vantage users. The problem I am having is that if more
than one user is trying to access a compiled Crystal Report, I either get a
599 error, too many users error or the sysprogress login coming up each
time. I know that I have something configured wrong either on the
workstations, Progress Explorer tool or with progress.

Can anyone help me?

Thank you,

Lori
