In Vantage 6, the Epicor provided Crystal reports do not use ODBC -
their statement is correct. Instead Vantage 6 creates several temporary
files on the client's local hard disk, and Crystal works from those. In
version 8+, these have become XML files in the shared EpicorData
directory.
If you customized reports in Vantage 6, these will very likely be ODBC
and you'll see the password prompt. Its actually recommended to create
a separate read only username for ODBC reports instead of using the
sysprogress name. That might be worth setting up now if you're changing
security & passwords.
There is no system agent in Vantage 6 nor scheduled reports.
Brian.

I don't think Vantage 6.10.543 has a 'system agent' - we have a fairly
old setup here... Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
The EpicorData directory doesn't look very familiar...
