Tables used in General Ledger report

Just wanted to add to this, in case anyone ever searches on it...

glopnbal and glperbal both have balances stored in them.

It doesn't map to a real table. GLPerBal (period balance) is sort of analogous
but not really, but I think its built on the fly for the report and contains the

sum of the credits and debits for each GLAccount for the selected date
range/period.

in the report data def for that report there's a "header" table and a "detail"
table (I love developers who think alias and obfuscate are synonyms)

The detail table, for sure, I agree is gljrndtl...
but I cannot figure out what the header table is from. I thought "gljrnhed"
sounded good, but that table has only a couple entries and neither are telling
me what I'm looking for.

basically, the results on the GL report do not match the sum of specific
gljrndtl entries, that's what we're trying to determine.
