Running 10.1.500.9

We have two separate servers, one is our application server that DOES NOT have a task agent configured on it. We want to have our task agent run on another server. How do we configure the app server to point to the other server that has the task agent running on it?

You can change the taskagent configuration on the server with the task agent service installed to the AppServer process that you want to point it to. We point the taskagent to the appserver instead of the appserver to the taskagent. That said, offloading just the taskagent service itself to another server won’t help with performance if that was the intention (just an FYI).
