You can control this through Currency Master.
This will be in: Financial Managment / Accounts Payable / Setup / Currency Master
Epicor has more info on Currency Master at the help zendesk here:
https://erphelp113200.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/31759230969869-Understanding-Currency-Master
Do take note that you cannot change the general decimal field if the currency has already been used by a document.
I think the number of decimals is tied to the company install. For example in the Demo System the EPIC06 company has its base currency setting set to 2 decimals…
However. If you can change the values in currency master maintenance to override those settings but it appears to be a one way trip, go more decimals and you can’t make is smaller later. When I tested this I got a warning about it…As soon as you start transacting you with that number of set decimals it won’t allow you to make it smaller.
It is always best to try and understand the requirements of your environment than trying to fix it post install.
One thing to be wary of is if you use a large number of decimals (5 is the max I believe), is that decimal type fields that are masked to not show all significant digits a * will start appearing (in classic, not sure in kinetic UI) and if you hover over the field it will show the true precise decimal.
Hi, I have the problem in Tax Type and the tax amount, in Epicor it is each line (Tax type) having 2 digits So there is one cents difference. If it is 3 digits than this issue will be resolved. But not able to find the configuration.
