Terminal Service Local login vs. Domain login

Our users log into their domain account on the TS with no problems at all.
The TS is a member server in the domain. I followed the Epicor instructions
when installing Progress and Vantage on the TS and everything works fine
with no other modifications.

Paul.

OK, we created local user accounts on our TS and everyone is logging in
OK except ....

As "local" users instead of "domain" users their access to network
drives are limited.

WHY do we have to create "local" accounts? WHY can't they login to the
Terminal Server under their domain account?

If anyone can explain this to my satisfaction, dinner's on me.

I have our users logging in under their domain credentials without
issue. I did however have to set them up as Power Users on the Terminal
server in order to run Vantage
