Testing connection to Vantage Group

I'm back guys, been having a terrible time with my Verisign mail box.
Finally got a tech that knew something with a midwestern accent.

I was having my users fill in the quote number in a VB form on the
orderhed. I thought it would be a simple task to create an RB report
that would pull up some information from the quote using this field.
However, when I created the report, I was getting an error because
the quote number on the quotehed is an integer field, while the quote
number on the VB form is a decimal. If I try and create a calculated
field that will convert the decimal field to an integer, that field
cannot be used for a link. (Only decimal, character, or date fields
are available to be used as links.) I seem to be stuck. Anyone have
any suggestions?
You can link to the VBForm field using the "company" field only. You can
then add a filter that only includes information from the quote table if the
Quote number equals you calculated field.

This method can however result in a report that can take a while to run.

Alternatively, if you add the line from the quote, the quote number and
quote line it was added from is already in the OrderDtl table which can then
be used to link. This would be the preferred method.
