It's not just Yahoo. Every major portal site seems to be dragging the last week (and I access from home DSL, work T1 as well as Palm phone digital wireless via Sprint's network).
Perhaps this April Fool's day virus (forgot it's name) everyone is so worried about is driving everyone to harden their sites (& it's causing a perceptible slow down). I read Microsoft put a $1,000,000 reward for info leading to arrest of the author and, apparently, the latest revision (3rd) of it is capable of spawning & launching DOS attacks across thousands of servers simultaneously (so it is effectively untraceable).

OK, this is my fourth attempt at a reply to your posting.
I haven't seen that message.
But twice today, I have been unable to type a reply because the Yahoo! wouldn't complete my logon.
And twice today, I have typed a reply to the group and hit the send button, only to receive a "Connection has Timed Out" message about 5 minutes later.
And Monday through today, I have been noticing that sometimes upon hitting the Send button for a group posting, it takes up to 3 hours for the message to be delivered to my inbox; while other times it takes less than 1 second for the message to be delivered to my inbox.
And once yesterday, it posted my message twice although I only hit the Send button once.
Very annoying.
Again, these problems seemed to have started on Monday, March 23.
