The Handle is Invalid error when trying to open Crystal .rpt fi

Alan,
I was having this problem the other day as well.
This is as you suspect an XP SP2 issue.
The fix I found is enclosed below.
-------------------
It's a problem with XP SP2!

Go to the compatibility tab, check 'Run this program in compatibility mode
for' and select Windows 2000
--------------------

After applying the fix above all is well again.
Good luck,

Subject: [Vantage] The Handle is Invalid error when trying to open
Crystal .rpt files

OK, you guys fixed my 132 error in Progress, for which I am very
thankful. Now I am trying to open any Crystal Report and before
anything opens, I just get an error, "The Handle is Invalid." What am
I doing wrong. I am using XP Pro, SP2.

THanks,

Alan
