We are implementing E10, we found out E10 has no fields to record the row-add user ID and time date. This is really unbelievable for an modern ERP.
The change log feature from earlier versions is now a Data Directive BPM process. In the design there is an option on the tool bar for logging changes – including a checkbox for Adds and/or Updates.

By local convention we name all in-transaction Directives for changes starting with CHGLOG- . They are also all in a CHGLOG group to make them easier to find and add fields to track. Tracking changes to the primary key (in this case PartNum) effectively tracks record adds with a user ID and time stamp..

Darned – I used to be able to paste in clips but apparently that does not work from my current email setup. Adam – I’ll send one off-list.
