There is no record created datetime and userid in most of E10 ta

Could we just create an UD field on orderhed table and set it default value is getdatetime() function?
Hi,
We are implementing E10, we found out E10 has no fields to record the row-add user ID and time date. This is really unbelievable for an modern ERP.

The change log feature from earlier versions is now a Data Directive BPM process.  In the design there is an option on the tool bar for logging changes – including a checkbox for Adds and/or Updates.

A few more details – if the screen clip comes through…

By local convention we name all in-transaction Directives for changes starting with CHGLOG- . They are also all in a CHGLOG group to make them easier to find and add fields to track. Tracking changes to the primary key (in this case PartNum) effectively tracks record adds with a user ID and time stamp..

Darned – I used to be able to paste in clips but apparently that does not work from my current email setup.  Adam – I’ll send one off-list.
