Barbara,
Hi! I know when we bought Vantage 5.2 three years ago, they did not have a
Fixed Asset module, although they were considering it. We just converted to
6.1, however, so perhaps that's changed. What version are you on? How are
you working around the international problem? Our controller may like the
integrated module.
Thanks,
Rebecca

We own the Vantage 'Fixed Asset' module.
We like it in many ways.
There are 2 concerns:
+ The program was created for international users and the depreciation
methods
are for them. We would like standard American methods of
deprecation.
+ You can not go back and make adjustments to assets after they have
been posted.
For example the cost is less than we thought yet we can not re-run
depreciation and re-calc.
Otherwise, we are glad to have it integrated with our
Jobs
POs
Invoice number against POs
Can enter insurance info (leased in under diff policy)
We can enter mileage and end date, etc for vehicles
