I was presented with a new-to me-problem/scenario that I did not find the answer online or in the various Epicor knowledge/problem bases.
We were getting a “LaborDtl is locked…” error on a couple of Time Entries and did not understand why we couldn’t Unlock or Recall them when they were locked by the user that the error stated was locking them (The Recall button was not greyed-out).
I figured out the cause of this was because a WIP Capture was done on Time Entry that did not have a GL code associated with an Indirect Code (and furthermore, we had changed the Indirect Labor Account of that code prior to the capture).
The actual lock was in the Review Journal (Thus, the RJ) reference at the end of the code. Once I nullified the Entry, I was able to fix this pretty readily.
