Time Entry & MES Glitches

Kinetic 2026.100.7 On Cloud:

Is anyone having Time Entry Errors or people being “Stuck in the MES” and have to complete End Active Labor?

Both Time Entry and MES are getting errors like this: 63441ac9-1435-4a98-a254-9be319814263 and when I download the Server File (I am really new to reading this and this is after turning our BPM’s off to help diagnose but Epicor support is not the most expedient at helping and we now have hundreds of edits to complete. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated)

My first thought when I see “Index was out of range” and “ResourceTimeUsed” in the same error, it points to LoadDays and LoadHours having different array lengths. They’re stored as ~ delimited strings, and I’m going to guess AdjShopL.AddHours is splitting both, iterating over LoadDays and complaining because LoadHours doesn’t have a value at index 3, for example. They should all look like this:

Not this:

If you import and run this BAQ, do you see any rows appear? If so, you might want to mention it in your case. I forget what the fix is for it.

RTULoadProblems.baq (8.5 KB)

Sounds related:

Thank you for your feedback. I imported the BAQ and ran it. On the main, there were 0 rows returned.

We are having similar issues. Epicor Cases:

  • CS0005557675 - Unable to End Activity for random employees and jobs
  • CS0005563447 - Unable to update and save or delete random Time Detail records in Time Entry

We have a temporary Data Fix from Epicor, but it keeps coming back for some as we have an external scheduling tool and then we reschedule jobs back into Epicor using Automation Studio, but we also were having some issues with some new jobs, but haven’t seen too many new job issues lately. I’m still working with support to try to find a solution for this.
