I will be installing barcode readers in our shop on Vantage 5.2 in
the near future and I am looking for advice from anyone who has been
through this already.

We have two goals for the barcode system: 1. Improve inventory
numbers and 2. Capture production times.

My questions are numerous:
Is this something that requires custom programming or consultants?
What is the best barcode station set-up? Thin client with touch
screen?
Is anyone successfully using RF scanners?
What readers are reliable?


Any advice is welcomed!
