Do you still have the fix code? Epicor told be to inactivate the part and create a new one??

We are on 8.03.409c and I seem to recall we got a fix from Epicor...

Trying to get rid of Track Dimension on a part that was inadvertantly checked. I have deleted all inventory that is track dimensioned and it still won't let me uncheck track dimension. This is a serial tracked part and won't let me serial track it since it is now track dimensioned.

Am also investigating how to disable track dimension check once this is fixed...

I had this happen once. Also, like you've experienced, a zero onhand
quantity didn't permit unchecking it.

Not sure how new this part is and/or how often it's been used. In our case,
it was a new part created with only a few transactions in PartTran. I had
to surgically delete all instances in PartTran of that P/N and then it flew.

how do I get rid of the part tran records? Is it only the dimensioned records that need removed? This is one of our major components so it will have lots of records...
