Yes, this sounds exactly what I'm looking for - I really prefer a BPM solution, because I want the users to have everything that the legacy Tracker provides - the only thing different for them is that they won't see ALL Suppliers.
If you could send me a copy of your BPM so that I could look at your code, that would be great. (Another user has suggested a BPM that uses "raise exception" and a pre-processing directive directing a post-processing directive - I haven't tried it yet, but it could look similar to your solution.)
