Tracking supplier promise dates when they change

If it’s just for reference a BAM and change log would work fine. If you ever wanted to report on how often it occurs or who is the greatest offender a change log won’t help you. So depends on how you want to use the information.

Is there a way to track supplier promise dates when they change?  We would like to be able to track supplier date changes to the original date they provided without adding additional date fields.  Would turning on the change log help us this?
