Hi there,
When receiving a transfer order, I can see a record in PartTran TranClass ‘I’, TranType PLT-ASM but there is no on hand stock and I can’t actually see where the stock has gone. Why would the trantype be coming up as PLT-ASM and not PLT-STK and why hasn’t inventory adjusted ?
The stock is still showing in the site it was transferred from.

According to the Inventory Transaction Hierarchy, PLT-ASM is:
2nd half of Transfer of Inventory from site A Warehouse site B Job. (See STK-PLT or MFG-PLT for 1st half of transaction)
The “ASM” means it’s going into a job, not into inventory… so there should be a job number referenced somewhere. When the definition says "“2nd half” it looks like this thing is coming BACK to the site B job, but I’m not sure how it was in inventory in site A.
Yes, I just found that on the knowledge base too. It doesn’t explain why the stock has gone back to the other site though and not received to inventory on the site it has been delivered to. Strange.
