Troubleshooting Cos/WIP

Hey Guys,
My COS/WIP is throwing funky errors in the task agent.

Any tips on troubleshooting? I’ve added trace flags on the server debug logs but it’s not showing the queries it running from what I can see.
Does the PE log viewer help with cos/wip?
I can’t even run the cos/wip report…

What sort of funky errors? That doesn’t give much to go on.

The Capture process and the Inventory/WIP Recon are both giving the same errors?

I will say, having the PE log turned on for COS/WIP is painfully slow. Only do this if you’re troubleshooting one kind of transaction (i.e. ADJ-QTY). But as @Chad_Smith stated, details will help us help you.

Turns out it was a performance issues my epicor consultants support pointed me to a KB to adjust the .net app timeouts.
I thought those adjustments had died since we moved to 11 but obviously my database size is causing issues.
Time for a purge!

Yeah, I got nothing for that. We only started 5 years ago. I hope to never go through this process.

Also, you may want to change your profile to list your current version. 10.1.400.20 is quite old.

All I remember was that it was normal for the app server to crash before 10am.
