Trying to get BPM to fire when specific user claims parts completed in MES

I have a situation where I need a message to pop up when a particular user on a particular job on a particular operation claims parts, it will pop up an information message to tell them to do something. I’ve created a pre-processing BPM on the “update” method of the LaborDtl table to accomplish this but I cannot get it to work. I have the specific EmployeeNum, JobNum, and Operation LaborDTl fields set as I want in the selection criteria for the “added” row, but I cannot get it to fire. Is there something else I can check to find out why it won’t fire from the MES screen when this user claims parts?

If they are entering a quantity on end activity the labordtl record already exists, so it would be on change.

Sounds like this is person specific problem, that should be addressed through company precedures and training, and not enforced through a BPM.

I am not in disagreement with your statement but when the CEO comes and asks for some sort of “virtual” reminder, something better get done LOL…
