Try SYSDATE if your doing this from ODBC, or TODAY if doing this from

I would like to pull the current data in progress to do some comparison
to
time stamps on data in the database but I don't know what the "getdate"
function is for the Progress tsql can some one fill me in on what this
is?

I haven't used Progress since 6.x (well, I know even the SQL Server version of Vantage 8 really runs on top of Progress)
but CURDATE() is right, at least when I was writing in Procedure Editor.
Is that where you're doing it?
