JOB DESCRIPTION

 

POSITION TITLE: DIRECTOR, ENTERPRISE STRATEGY

This position is accountable to the CFO with responsibility for the direction of the information technology department concerning

 

strategic planning, process improvement, ERP implementation and problem resolution by establishing operations initiatives for

 

improvement in safety, quality, cost, delivery and employee relations. This position will contribute to the development and

 

implementation of the IT strategy and realization of the operations and profit targets of DIVISION by performing the following

 

duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (functions):

 

1. Work safely without injury maintaining the highest safety standards in compliance with Company safety policies

 

2. Directs and oversees operational aspects of the organization's technical infrastructure.

 

3. Develops and implements a strategic road map for IT and Infrastructure for DIVISION.

 

4. Champions required ERP implementation and help provide a common IT platform for all current and future sites of

 

5. Becomes a bridge between DIVISION needs and priorities and Corporate Corporate IT Strategies.

 

6. Leads collaborative discussions with other Corporate Operating Company IT groups.

 

7. Utilizes Continuous Improvement Methodologies to drive system and architecture improvements.

 

8. Monitors accessibility of applications or services.

 

9. Leads implementation and maintenance of enterprise-wide system tools and ensures scalability.

 

10. Implements and maintains operating policies to mitigate risk.

 

11. Directs and oversees IT programs and projects to ensure they meet organization goals and requirements.

 

12. Develops and implements IT processes and policies, directs project management staff, and works with other department

 

leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs.

 

13. Works effectively with other internal departments and management.

6. Must be results driven, strategically strong, innovative, with hands-on management style to successfully build strong

 

teams with effective interpersonal skills and professional communication.

 

7. Must be able to work independently or with management, employees, customers & DIVISION, Corporate OPCO’s,

 

Corporate Corporation and other related entities.

9. Develops and maintains methods, procedures, attitudes and skills to provide QUALITY work.

13. Participates in and attends Company meetings, training sessions and seminars as required.

 

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Business Administration, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or related field,

 

and/or 10 years-related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have

 

demonstrated successful experience with ERP systems, software applications, system implementation and development.

 

Knowledge of Sequel Based ERP systems and Salesforce.com will be a strong plus.

 

Ability to read, write, verbalize and comprehend instructions and correspondence at the highest level in the English language and

 

must have the ability to understand, interpret and communicate verbally with customers with mild to heavy foreign accents.

 

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, Company team members in

 

Must have mathematical skills equivalent to those required under the degree / education requirement.

 

Must have reasoning ability and skills equivalent to those required under the educational requirements. Ability to apply conflict

 

and problem resolution skills at the common sense level to the highest level of understanding.

 

Standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, bending, lifting, carrying, balancing, stooping, reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing,

 

seeing. Must be able to move around obstructions such as boxes, chairs, desks, office equipment and other related items that

 

may be on the floor, move around airports, in and out of airplanes or other approved means of transportation. May require

 

lifting up to 25 pounds with or without lifting aids and devices. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision,

 

distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

 

Must be able to work in a climate controlled office and manufacturing shop environment as job duties require. May be exposed

 

to loud operating machinery and cold or hot temperatures. Must be able to travel in cars, airplanes or other approved means of

 

TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, SOFTWARE AND OTHER RELATED ITEMS:

 

Must be able to effectively and proficiently use the Company's communication system, including telephone, fax, e-mail, Internet,

 

Intranet, computer systems, computer software systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel. May
