This customer uses template jobs to create new jobs, and they USED to backflush certain materials. For a variety of reasons they no longer want to backflush those materials, but the template jobs they create (almost all of) their new jobs from have these materials marked as Backflush, and the checkbox is grayed out (even when the job is unEngineered). Is the only answer to REMOVE the backflushed materials from all their template jobs, and then RE-CREATE the materials with the current part/site setting?
In testing, changing the “Related Operation” field to 0 (zero) clears the Backflush checkbox. If the Part > Site record “Backflush” checkbox is ALSO cleared, you can reset the Related Operation to whatever it was before and Backflush remains cleared. At least it works this way in an Education database (2025.1.12).
