We ran into an issue where a newly designed assembly was not serial tracked when it should have been. A job was created, materials issued, and some operations completed before we noticed.
We currently have none of this part in stock, but the serial tracking button on part entry is still greyed out and unclickable. Is there a way to enable serial tracking on this part? Perhaps the WIP job is preventing this?
Further complicating matters… Op 10 was a subcontract, so we already have transaction records on part transaction history tracker.
Any advice is appreciated!
