Our Production Manager attempted to End Activity for someone that forgot to clock out today, but received an error with a correlation ID when clicking the End Activity button:
Downloading the Server Log and looking for the Correlation ID shows the following:
<![CDATA[System.Exception: Unable to end activity, active labor exists
I am also getting this error as a Security Manager. I can click the JobNum hyperlink and the End Activity slide out will pop out, and I can End Activity from there.
Any chance someone else is experiencing this on 2026.100.7? Error when selecting the End Activity button from the Supervisor MES tab?
Thanks for the response, Randy. I am not sure what you are referencing.
Just happened out on the floor, I went back to the office and logged into Pilot as an Employee, Started Production Activity on a random Job, then opened my MES in another window and attempted to End Activity on the Job that I just clocked into as a Security Manager.
End Activity works for the User on the main MES page, it works as a Supervisor using the hyperlink, just the End Activity button seems to error out. Figured it might be a bug or something since I can End Activity in multiple other ways.
We’re getting a couple of users that try to end activity through MES and receive an error as well.
Looking at the log files, this is what I’m seeing.
**Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
**
I wonder if its related?
We just had two more users get the error when trying to clock out of MES (different job than last time).
I had to clock them out using the “End Activity on Labor Detail” process but now I’m getting the same error when trying to add their time manually via Time Entry Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
Need to find a workaround to get their time added.
Not that I’m aware of, I have a ticket open as well. The support agent recommended a data model regen so we did one last night, will report back if we’re still seeing the issue today.
