Has anyone seen these error messages before, when trying to launch Vantage?
0x8007007e seems too be a well documented MS problem, but I am not sure if
it is the underlying problem with unsuccesfully trying to start a Vantage
client session as well....

I've seem similar errors before. It's usually linked to your video
settings. Make sure they haven't selected to use "large icons" under the
video setup ...this is usually the culprit. Also, if they are running a
very high resolution try bumping it down a size or two.

Yup, widget problems in the past were always video related. I tried
different settings on the card, but none work...
