Unable to open file: promsgs

Hey all,
Thanks for the help. Unfortunately none of the suggestions worked. I
did solve the problem however, and this is what I found. In the .vtg
file for the training database, there was a reference to a .ini file
(IniFile=C:\VNTGWK51\JOE.INI). For some reason, the .ini file the vtg
was looking for wasn't one that vantage needs. I changed the ini file
refence to match the one in the vtg file for the live database
(IniFile=M:\Vantage\vantage.ini), and voila! It now works.

Check the .mfg file to make sure the temp directory is set to a valid
path.

Check your drive mappings, make sure the client is mapped to the
appropriate drive on the server that contains the promsg files.

The promses file needs to be made read only. You should find it in the
progress folder. I had this problem last year and support had me make it RO.
