Tried that - no help. A customization tech at epicor said this was a
bug, but previously not known. I should be getting an SCR number here by
Monday (hopefully).

Thanks,
Kunal

I have seen that behavior at times. Go to pick links tab select
ProdCode, and then go to the description tab, select ProdCode for lookup
link, then fields pick add prodcode once again. This should get you
data..

Anyone ever had this issue before -

I created a copy of a data definition and pulled in a field that was
previously in the "excluded fields" section. I run a report using that
definition to generate the XML. In crystal reports, I can see the newly
added field, but it contains no data. I inspected the raw XML as well
and sure enough, the field header is there, but the tags (and data) for
the field are missing.

Report - Stock Status
Field - Part.ProdCode

Thanks,
Kunal

verified another bug in 408b now.....

the data definitions for stock status is broken - you cannot add new fields from any tables are that already in there to your data definition to view as a crystal report. I have been told that a SCR number will be given to me in 2 days. Read below for the original post I made about this issue.

Thanks,
Kunal

It just really puzzles me how something like this can occur. Thanks for
the update.
