We set up machine numbers as shop employees. At the end of each shift, the shift supervisor Ends Activity and clocks the "unattended machine numbers" out of the job when he reports the shift production. Then he Starts Production Activity again and clocks the ID for the unattended machine number back into the job for the new shift.
