Unfirm job number changed into different number

May I know why the unfirm job number changed into different number? MRP00000007597 has changed to MRP00000009340. Is because of Recycle MRP job was not used while processing MRP?

If you are doing a full regen, the unfirmed job numbers will change every time.

Using the Recycle MRP Jobs/Update Recycle Threshold will reduce the odds of that happening each time.

Thanks. I’m sure I only generated the net change. For the FG part, I created another sales order and ran the MRP specifically for that FG part.

Consider that the Job number for make direct to order the MRP job can be set to be the Order-Line-Release

First - do this in your pilot environment
Change the setting in company config, and you have make direct order release (with a ship by date)
Run MRP process
Using your favor job mgmt tool search for unfirm job or look at the job related to the order release.
