You may want to setup one class called “Your Companies Name”.  Since you can’t hop between classes in different areas you get screwed. So Epicor’s text book example of AREA, WEIGHT, COUNT, etc… for Classes doesn’t work as cleanly and presented. I had to create LB under WEIGHT and LBs under COUNT because we manufacture EA but send out for Heat Treating as LBs.

Test and see if this makes sense.

Subject: [Vantage] Unit of Measure Classes / UOM’s in E9

We have parts with a Purchasing Unit of Measure of LB and IUM of feet. Can anyone share how they’ve setup their UOM Classes and UOM’s to work this setup? I presume that I need a custom UOM Class? Any help would be appreciated.
