UOM Conversion 8-9

What are your UOM class types? If you have class types of other you can add the uom to each class. If the types are the Epicor controlled class, then the UOM can only be attached to one class.

I was advised to create all of our own UOM classes with a class type of 'Other'. With this strategy you can also make the uom part specific. This helps when you have units of measure of 'BT' and want to go to 'OZ'.

Just curious what other people have done for Ounces OZ since it can be both
a volume as well as a weight.

Can you have the same UOM in 2 classes? Or did you change things up and make
a new UOM like LOZ for Liquid Ounce.

[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
I BELIEVE you can either use the same one in both, or you create 'OZ' under
each class and it knows the difference.
It's been a while since I set it up, but I know we OZ under each with the
same ID.

No you create
FLOZ and OZ

You can't have the same Unit in two classes.
