UOM Unknown

I have this one part in stock that I can’t cycle out due to a UOM conversion error.

We do have a UOM class of Count that includes AR (as required), EA (each), and ZZ (unknown). However, this part somehow got stored with the UOM code UNKN. We don’t have this code setup. I suspect this is a holdover from decades past. Can I correct this myself, or do I need to conjure up a sacrifice for the support gods?

Thank you for your time!

You will probably need a data fix utility created to repair this record.

I agree. I suggested as much to Epicor support.

FWIW support sent me to these KBs:
Knowledge Article KB0029106 - Changing UOM Class and UOM on Existing Parts
Knowledge Article KB0045331 - Changing the UOM Class After Transactions

They did not help in this case. Waiting for what I hope will be a simple datafix.
Thanks!

I had never had this exact issue but we did have parts in the system with a completely blank UOM. I assume it was leftover from some kind of data import or something. Eventually they did provide a datafix.

Does this issue exist in your test system, maybe try creating the UOM code?
