We are in 10.400.1.22 and when on Process Security Maintenance after adding a new Group under Selected Groups/Users and trying to save it, we get the error “Update of global record is not allowed.”
Has anyone else experienced this problem? I have included some screenshots:
I’ve got a Public Cloud system we’re trying to set up security for, and the Allow Access and Disallow Access for all users buttons are greyed out, so everyone has access to everything. When I try to DMT changes in (using either Security Groups or UserIDs), I get the “update of global record is not allowed” message. This is 10.2.500.10. What setting am I missing?
In Help, under Getting Started there’s a section for Cloud Users. The TL;DR is that you have to create a Security ID for each Company. Again, probably remnants of MT .
In Help, search for Modify Menu Security under ERP Cloud Guide. If you have a lot, you may want to use DMT.
