User 4 User Conference Cancelled

Epicor would like to help out any Vantage users that have experienced some
type of penalty for booked airfare or lodging to attend the recently
canceled User-4-User conference.

Epicor is willing to offer any Vantage user a dollar reduction value on the
Colloquim conference fee, should you register for any of these events
scheduled yet this year.

Please contact vantage.education@... to request further details.

off-line? My husband and son may be going to Norway, IL for a shifter
go-cart race, and I was thinking of tagging along with my daughter.

Well, when staying in Chicago as a guest on the Jerry Springer show....
Just kidding.

List of Things I would do in Chicago

Do's
1) Stay at the Drake. Four Star hotel located on Michigan Ave. I really
don't think better shopping can be found anywhere in the world then on
Michigan Ave. Your on Lakeshore drive, a short walk from the lake and maybe
6 blocks north of the Naval pier.
2) A must for any Chicago visit is the Museum of Science and Industry. Its
overwhelming. (10 minute taxi ride from the Drake)
3) Another hot tourist spot is the Sears Tower and John Hancock building.
4) Buy a package (Available almost anywhere along the river) for a sunset
cruise down the river and out the locks onto Lake Michigan. The Chicago
skyline lighting up at dusk is something you'll never forget. Most offer
dinner.
5) The Aquarium and Planetarium are great.
6) Just south of Chicagoland you will find gambling boats galore.

Don'ts
1) Don't drive around Chicago. Take a Taxi everywhere. If your lucky
enough to survive the trip to your destination, you'll never find parking.
If you would be one of the lucky few to find parking, you'll pay dearly for
it.
2) Don't be surprised at the prices. If you pay less then $150.00 per
night at a hotel downtown you'll be getting free roaches with your
continental breakfast.
3) Be careful where you go. Most areas downtown are safe but when
exploring some of the more diverse areas, use caution.
4) Fly into O'Hare if possible, Midway always seems to be a mess.
5) Stay off of the "L" (Chicago's version of a subway)

Chicago's a great town.

We purchased two tickets from Newburgh, NY to Chicago for $278 each.
I had a nagging feeling of booking the flight until the conference
was confirmed, but recieved an email from the Chicago group to go
ahead and book the flight; next time I go with my instincts and wait
for a confirmation.
As far as meeting as a small group, it does not make sense to spend
addition time and money just for the sake of using the airline ticket.
Thanks anyway to the group for trying to get a very reasonably priced
education session including hotel and meals.

How old is your daughter? If American Girl clothes and merchandise appeal -
Chicago has the only retail store for the dolls and a great eatery and
revue......an expensive outing ....but a great one for kids 5-11.

Okay Chicago folks....what's that other great tourist trap called....along
the lakefront with the big Ferris wheel....Navy Pier?

List of Things I would do in Chicago

Do's
1) Stay at the Drake. Four Star hotel located on Michigan Ave. I really
don't think better shopping can be found anywhere in the world then on
Michigan Ave. Your on Lakeshore drive, a short walk from the lake and maybe
6 blocks north of the Naval pier.
2) A must for any Chicago visit is the Museum of Science and Industry. Its
overwhelming. (10 minute taxi ride from the Drake)
3) Another hot tourist spot is the Sears Tower and John Hancock building.
4) Buy a package (Available almost anywhere along the river) for a sunset
cruise down the river and out the locks onto Lake Michigan. The Chicago
skyline lighting up at dusk is something you'll never forget. Most offer
dinner.
5) The Aquarium and Planetarium are great.
6) Just south of Chicagoland you will find gambling boats galore.

Don'ts
1) Don't drive around Chicago. Take a Taxi everywhere. If your lucky
enough to survive the trip to your destination, you'll never find parking.
If you would be one of the lucky few to find parking, you'll pay dearly for
it.
2) Don't be surprised at the prices. If you pay less then $150.00 per
night at a hotel downtown you'll be getting free roaches with your
continental breakfast.
3) Be careful where you go. Most areas downtown are safe but when
exploring some of the more diverse areas, use caution.
4) Fly into O'Hare if possible, Midway always seems to be a mess.
5) Stay off of the "L" (Chicago's version of a subway)

Chicago's a great town.

I agree with Dave. What's wrong with the "El"? Depending on where you are
going, it's the way to go.
