User Code drop down showing COdie ID & Description

Hi All
I have a field which I want to drop down - for user codes, showing User code ID and Description inside the drop down box - at the moment only one column appears in the drop down which is the description

How can I modify to show the two columns form the user codes table please?

Hi Carla,

To get something similar to below with multiple columns showing in your UDcodes field:

And then go to the EpiColumns … and tell it what fields to show; edit the column widths to show the data. PS: i have found the column sizing here a little buggy, sometimes requiring messing around with it to get it to work as needed

I do not have the width controls you have for drop down lists so my columns are unnecessarily wide

Any idea how I can reduce width of my 1st column ?

Yes, if you can wait until after your upgrade, the customization sheet should include the properties you want to adjust for that control in later versions of E10. Much easier than coding. Or you are still interested in code, you could do a quick search of this site using terms “GetNativeControlReference” and/or “JobOperSearchCombo” Here is an example thread - E10 Adjust Combo dropdown Width - Yahoo Archive - Epicor User Help Forum

All sorted now thanks so much for your help - my problem was because I had the code in the wrong place. once I put it in initialise custom code it worked a treat
