You need to change your ODBC setup from "READ UNCOMMITED" to "READ
COMMITED". Its on the Advanced tab of the ODBC Driver. Then relink your
tables in Access.

We have a number of Customer Shipments showing as shipped but not invoiced
even though they have been invoiced. Invoice Tracker shows the invoice type
as "SHP". A check on the table values shows that the ShipHead.Invoiced value
is set to No and the ShipDtl.Invoiced value is set to Yes. This explains why
no invoice comes up when we 'Get Shipments' from invoice entry and also
explains why the Packing Slip still shows in the Customer Shipments Shipped
screen. I have no idea how they came about but wanted to try an MS Access
Update Query to set the ShipHead.Invoiced value to Yes (in my test system)
to see if this fixes the problem before the auditors start to get jumpy. I
can use ODBC to link to the table but when I run the update query I get an
error

"ODBC-update on a linked table 'PUB_ShipHead' failed. Statement not allowed
in readonly isolation level".

I am running the update query from a Terminal Server session and I have
Administration rights on all servers. I have read on the group that this is
possible to do, so clearly I am missing something. Any clues?

Thanks in advance
