Using Vantage for scheduled machine maintenance

Hi Anthony,

We ended up using Indirect Labor codes.
They are really generic & the cost accounting is kind of funny but... it was "good enough" here.

We once looked at field service jobs.
The administrative overhead seemed too high (for the return). That was a really long time ago though. I'd be interested to hear anything you learn.

Is anyone using Vantage to track maintenance jobs, be they scheduled or just breakdowns.
I was considering using Field Service jobs to do it, but before I look down the road, I'd be interested to hear anyone's experiences in doing this.

Thanks,

Epicor has released an Equipment maintenance repair and overhaul package
for epicor9 to do just that, don't know if it is available in Vantage.

Subject: [Vantage] Using Vantage for scheduled machine maintenance

Is anyone using Vantage to track maintenance jobs, be they scheduled or
just breakdowns.
I was considering using Field Service jobs to do it, but before I look
down the road, I'd be interested to hear anyone's experiences in doing
this.

Thanks,
Anthony Hughes
