You were spot on, I added the company field to the display group in the
BAQ, refreshed the Crystal and now it runs.

The crystal report may be missing a dataset that it thinks it needs. I
would make sure the database expert contains the company dataset.

Company is in the dataset, all links are outerjoins.

The report runs if I add a filter to the BAQ and only send one
partnumber to the crystal report.

I open up the BAQ to send all data which is 168,000 records, that's when
I get the UTF8 error.
