We're receiving a message of 'A valid fiscal period is required'
however, we have the periods set up in the master file.

We're dead in the water at the moment. Does anyone have any idea what
might be causing this?

Thanks for your help.

Is it possibly a 'closed' period you are trying to use?

If memory serves...there can be no gaps in the dates in the fiscal calendar. Double check for 31 day months with 30th as last day.

That was it. Thanks so much. I don't have acct. access myself so I
was acting as mediator.

I get that message when I haven¹t set the following fiscal period up.
Example... When I closed September (which happens to be year end)..it
doesn¹t let me close the period until I have the next years first fiscal
period set up. This is due to the reversing/recurring entries process.
