V5.1 Message buffer size

You might want to check you Startup.pf in the Progress directory.
I had this problem in 5.2, support had me add the following line; -Mm 4096
to the startup.pf.


-cpinternal ISO8859-1
-cpstream ISO8859-1
-cpcoll Basic
-cpcase Basic
-d mdy
-numsep 44
-numdec 46
-Mm 4096 (added line for your error)
-L 3000 -n 56 (added this line for another error)

the same"
I can run all of the reports with Report Builder with no problem.
What parameter did I miss?

Bill,
I ran into the same thing. You also need to modify the X:\Epic51
\Progress\Startup.pf file to add the -Mm 4096 parameter to the end of
the file. I missed it when I read through the install instructions
(pg27).
