Here's my best explanation:
In Opportunity/Quote Entry:
Quoters Appear by default as the primary contact.
GENERAL TAB: Listed as the SALES REP: (Should probably be renamed
Primary Contact)
Goto the PEOPLE Tab the select the sales person for the quote and check them
as the PRIMARY CONTACT, now go back to the GENERAL TAB and you will see this
selection listed as "SALES REP:".
What does it mean to be the PRIMARY CONTACT if you don't have CRM. 1) You
get your name displayed on the GENERAL TAB under SALES REP 2) Your name
will appear on the Crystal Quote Form as the SALES CONTACT 3) your name will
appear on the Print Out of the WORKSHEET.
So you may want to have in your procedures when to change this before or
after your worksheet or quote are printed depending on who's name you need
to display.

We are planning to upgrade from V5.0 to 5.2 over the holidays. We have a
test DB running and I am planning to have a training session for our sales
staff on Mon & Tues of next week.
I am having a problem understanding Roles and Sales force in regards to the
Quote Module.
When I open an exiting quote that has been quoted, under the general tab the
Sales Rep shows up as the quoter not the sales rep. Is this and error on
Epicors part or can this be fixed or am I just dazed and confused.
