Thanks, that was the problem, an inactive account.

For some reason we cannot open Control Accounts in the Module Config in
one Company. Other Companies are working fine. I have searched and so
far I have not located a reason why we can no longer open the Control
Accounts. Anyone have any help.

One of the GL accts specified in the Control menu could have been
inactivated or deleted. I had to restore an old backup ( to test) and find
which one of the "accounts that we don't use" was deleted. Then it can be
recreate and the menu will open.

This sounds like one of the accounts set up in the control accounts setup
had been deleted. We had this issue when we were on 5.2, Vantage allows you
to delete an such an account provided there have been no transactions
against it.

I had captured screen shots of the initial setup so locating the offending
account number was easy, then just recreate the account and access the
Control Account setup and change it. If you do not have screen shots you
could try an export or use odbc to look into the XaSyst table
