I think (and I could be wrong) that when you go back into the line details and see the date again it's because Vantage is trying to autopopulate. I did just try it again though on our test database and it is retaining the promise date like you are showing. I'll try and go through the old emails to see what I can find. It is a bit irratating not to mention misleading.

Has anyone had experience with clearing the PO Promise Date in PO Release? We have tried clear, delete, F7, and F8 to no avail.

TIA,

Jill Pleau
Hi Jill - Try entereing a question mark, and then either tab or enter. It should clear it out.

Liz,

On the surface this appears to work, however, when I go back to check it out -- the date is populated again. Do you get a different result?

Hi Jill - Sorry about the delay. I was trying to find documentation on this because we did have this issue a few years back. It may have been on an earlier patch. I think (and I could be wrong) that when you go back into the line details and see the date again it's because Vantage is trying to autopopulate. I did just try it again though on our test database and it is retaining the promise date like you are showing. I'll try and go through the old emails to see what I can find.
