V6.1: BAM and ShipDtl

Hi,

Sorry only just read this. I don't know how your company operates, it
is suited to how we work but it might not be for you.

What you could have is a Despatch operation in your method of
manufacture as the final operation.

So before you despatch anything Shipping need to enter qtys through
this. Then you could attach a BAM on this.

It works ok for us but we do our the vast majority of shipping from
mfg.

Hope this helps.

I am trying to write a procedure that will alert me when our shipping
quantity does not match our order quantity. However I cannot select the
ShipDtl Table within BAM, does anyone know of another table that gets
updated when you add a line to a packing slip?

Thanks,

Rich Wagner

Rich,
You could use the ShipHead and base it off the shipped (ReadytoInvoice)
field. This might be to late for your desire, but it might be a way to go.
Good luck,

I am trying to create a report to show the total variances and cost for
our year end inventory using the business activity quarry. I am having
trouble finding the variance table. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
